There was a phone booth in the parking lot of the old Tropicana Motel on Santa Monica Blvd and this is where Tom Waits would conduct all of his business.  This RARE never before published photo of Tom Waits hanging out with Tommy Ramone of The Ramones. All the cool bands adored The Tropicana.

Anonymous said: I can't believe he is gone!! one of the first albums I found in a free box was a compilation of Ramones songs. Since the moment I pressed play I loved the ramones!! I have shirts, buttons, albums, and patches. :'( I'm actually really sad right now. I just am happy that the original quartet are back together now.

suicidewatch:

RIP Tommy Ramone. America’s greatest band of all time loses it’s last original member.

Anonymous said: I won't believe it until I see it from an actual news site. Thank you though. Still hoping it's a hoax.

I understand, unfortunately the news is coming from trusted sources. His legacy lives.

Anonymous said: Where did you receive confirmation that Tommy has died? I'm seeing nothing official whatsoever.

Andy Schwartz, New York Rocker Magazine publisher and formerly of Epic Records,is confirming the news: http://www.vanyaland.com/2014/07/11/r-p-tommy-ramone-1952-2014-last-living-original-member-ramones/
