THIS IS SO FUCKING BAD ASS! I have not seen this photo in years and years. I sandwiched myself right between Cherie and Marie Currie’s little beds in their bedroom back in 1977 and I just shot away. What a highlight in a young teenage photographer’s career!

Back in 1977 I had to carry two cameras with me at all times. One was not enough. I needed one for color film and the other for black and white. Very few of the magazines and newspapers printed in color so black and white was the most popular. One of the exceptions was the Japanese, they demanded color photos. This was the first photo session of The Runaways minus Cherie and Jackie. Joan was in full control and I was there front and center at their Roxy sound check!
